this is the way they explained it to me, on headers over a long period of time it may dull a tad, but mainly on reg headers, or headers used for turbos , or engines running extremely lean on the performance side
so with oem manifolds being thicker, and usually on milder engines , it would take quite a bit longer to fade , so we had these done for Big Dave, and he is one of the most honest folks I know, and want sway an opinion jsut on friendship,
he is trying the rejex wax now, so I am sure he will give us a detailed review on these,
on a manifold , they dont get quite as hot, so on them there should not be a worry on fading over time. but on a manifold to get it to look really nice there will be some time in prep work, to get a smooth appearance, but I am taking a set of long tubes tomorrow, to get coated black, and will get a price on the intake manifold, I am figuring off the top of my head between $2-250 for a ceramic coating
