Thanks ! I would consider trades partial trades at this point.Just need some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Best of luck with your sale.

I feel your pain with the custom bike market. It grew too big too fast, thanks in part to the RUBs runnin' out and dropping obscene amounts of $$$ 'cause they think it will make 'em look cool to their friends or something. There's a ton of bikes on eBay, Cycle Trader, etc. that are practical new and maxed out and selling for a fraction of their original price. Low 20s on a practically new Bourget? How woulda thunk it 3 years ago or so at the height of the phat tire craze. Now it's bobbers and baggers...

God Bless American Chopper...

You're asking a great price, just need to find the right ass for the seat!

If I had only completed it sooner ! :(

I built it to sell more than anything, was figuring on getting $38,000 for it
I have over $30,000 in it :(
Hate to sell it for $15,000  but I just can't see going any lower

I have seen LOTS of bikes going for insanely low prices. It is good for buyers now, though.;)

I am looking for a bagger (hopefully low-miles,black Road King) for the fall.

I will sell the engine separately from the rest $6500
Full rolling chassis (has EVERYTHING EXCEPT engine ) $10,000

MUST GO !!!!!!!

Called a dealer in NOVA (thats NOrthern ViginiA ,for those that don't know) on the recommendation of a friend. They advised that since c4l is not currently doing business that the bike would likely have to be titled as a "Special construction" bike. That means mucho dinero on the insurance:mad:

Jake may get back into business and he may not,a lot depends on the divorce settlement. As of now there would be no warranty. It is still new,I never titled it.

I have over $30,000 in it (don't ask,bad business deal  ).I built it to sell, not ride. After Jakes horrible accident, things went bad in a hurry on the selling proposition on this investment.I was pretty fortunate to even get it back as his wife decided to have her attorney ,a cop, and a locksmith raid his business to steal his files and take pics of everything to insure she got her fair share when she divorced him.I got my bike out one week ahead of her or i would have lost it as "company property "(not having a title or receipt yet).

Anyway,I have had a difficult time cranking it (110" RevTech engine). After it turns over it runs fine.I just don't have the time or patience to deal with it any longer. It is in the way and a constant reminder of jakes accident and my bad investment strategy (especially NOW as all markets are drying up,just a few short years ago it looked like a sure profit maker)

It needs a few minor trim pieces on the handlebars OR just new bars ,needs the speedo to be connected, needs a new battery ( have a new starter ,just needs to be installed) and it is ready to go.

I am taking it to this dealer Friday morning and letting it go for WHATEVER is offered .I am pretty sure I can't get 15k,but I am hoping for at least 10k :(

If anyone is interested in a project bike, here is your last chance. It has a gorgeous House of Kolor paint job by CMW ( see post 48 ? above )
