That is not true...once that got your tag number...they know who you are. So, unless you are a theif who is constantly stealing tags and running from the cops they will meet your at your house.

Heck...they may have the tag number of the motorcycle that ran...they just haven't said yet.

I know of quite a few motorcycle guys that either mount their plate so it is difficult to read, or some of them have a movable flap that covers their plate.
