billy boat or magnaflow?

In your folk's opion and viper wisdom- which one sounds or performs better the magna flow system or the billyboat? ive got the magna right now but the BB sure sounds good.:burnout:

A friend of mine just had our dealer install BB catbacks on his Charger SRT8....the same dealer installed the Magnaflow catbacks on my Charger SRT8....The tech told me the Magnas were much easier to install. They had to expand joints on the BB to get them to fit...pipes that were to fit together were the same size so they had to expand one end so it would fit over the other pipe.

They also had to finish welding on some of the hangers that were not completed at the factory. Overall build quality is lacking. I have read on the SRT8 forums complaints about seams splitting.

As far as sound goes each exhaust has it's own sound. The magna are slightly more throaty. I will say I would be happy with either exhaust as far as sound goes (on my SRT8)......do not know how either sound on a SRT10 but I will once my truck gets here...it has BBs on it.

From the quality issues I have read and observed first hand I would be reluctant to buy a BB exhaust...:dontknow:

LOVE THE MAGNAFLOW. SOUNDS GREAT AND NO PROLEMS WITH INSTALL OR SOUND. I WISH I HAD THE COMPLETE EXHAUST FROM MOPAR OR BOOMER, BUT TO EACH THEIR OWN.

i had a whole ordeal with Billy Boat exhausts not being as avertised on their webpages, you can check back on that thread if you're interested......
it wasn't the kind of exhaust you want to put on in your garage, but a good muffler shop will have no problem..... as far as sound, it's the best !!!:rock:

Magnaflow is by far the best bang for the buck. Love mine....its a 100% better tone over the stocker. Delete the cats and it really comes alive so all your neighbors will know when your out late trying to get lucky with some brand x!!! LOL Installs very easily in the driveway with lots of wd 40.

Magnaflow and cat delete imo.... i've heard Borla and best I can say is ahhhh haven't heard B&B in person but have heard clips it certainly sounds good but at twice the price and with their other issues as of late Magnaflow is the way to go!!! :rock:

I have only heard the B&B and the Borla and the B&B sounds better. The performance shop that did the install said this one of the better sounding exhausts he has heard. Really deep throughout the rpm range. Idle sounds mean as hell.

magnaflow has got a big VOTE from me. I ordered a borla and sent it back because the magnaflow I just had installed on my truck sounded great!!! You can beat the most bang for the buck you get from the magnaflow. Use the money you save towards other mods and you will be happier in the end. Im using the money i saved from going with the Magnaflow to purchase a performance PCM for more HP!!!!!! YEEEE HAWWWWW!!

Could you elaborate? Sound wise I'm definitely leaning B&B but the other side of me wants to try to put something together using various 'parts'. I've looked at the Aero and find lots to like about it.
