I had a Lightning once(actually had two).Had every mod available at that time (2001).It was wicked quick and handled better than my SRT.BUT,having had both, I wouldn't trade 5 L's for my SRT .They just don't have the "WOW !" factor.Not as cool,either.Quicker and handle a little better,but still give me my big ol' Dodge ! I have had Lightning owners drool over my truck at shows.And they had VERY nice ones !

who says a l is faster, I have ran 4 and havent lost yet. My truck has a volant cai, hennessey intake throttle body and computer, bassani headers, jmb catless mids, magnaflow exhaust, centerforce clutch and master/slave upgrade, and a b&m shifter. The lightnings have not gave me any problem.

Lightening's for lunch...they need lots of mods to keep up...but their mods are cheap compared to ours.
I traded my 04L for the SRT and I have not been happier, for one I wanted a truck that could haul ass and 5 people, plus I wanted to "viper powered" vehicles in the stable.
There is a silver 04 in town that a friend of my Dad bought, 55 yo guy, has 1800 miles on it. Said he would sell it to me "cheap". I would, but I just do not have the room and the wife refuses to let her BMW sit out.

I also traded my 04 L. For my 04 10 , Stock for stock they do not stand a chance against the 10's . Inside & out we are a much nicer truck.
