Black Grill Options

I am going for the blacked out de badged look. I plan on deleting the hood scoop grill all together like some have done. I am looking for a black grill for the hood to replace the horizontal silver bars that are there now. I saw the black honeycomb but am not completely stoked on that. "Where can you get one of these by the way?"

Is there a grill that is closer to the criss cross pattern like the lower grill?

I also saw steveaustin was working on a carbon fiber girll insert....any idea what this will look like and is if for the hood grill?

Thanks for the input...i searched the visual mods but didn't find much in there on grills.

So far I only have the windows blacked out and a light tint on the entire windshield....have the black headlights ordered and am going to powdercoat the wheels kinda like 2nd chance's.

I ordered the honeycomb and then just threw it away....just isn't the right answer IMO.....looks good in pics but not in life....find a billet one you like and powdercoat it......

Gotta disagree with Mike on this.... i love the black honeycomb compared to the factory billet look chit and imo nothing i've seen in the aftermarket looks as good!!

i purchased these and they will be painted semi-flat black!:rock: well i can't seem to post the link--anyway they are the street scene brushed aluminum grille inserts #950-77507,they are a diamond shape pattern. type in the part # at http://www.truckperformance.com i have these on my other truck and they really look sharp.

I just taped off my front end and painted the stocker. Good enough until I find something I like better.

I did almost the same thing Mike did, I bought it and didn't use it. I saw it on Steve's YF and it looked great, but on red I didn't like it.
