some guys run them some dont, i think it runs a little cooler with them in there. directs wind.

I took the passenger side one out a few months ago when i put my CAI in and have not had any problems. Maybe a tick or two lower temps, but nothing much.

I think the passanger one is there to deflect air into the air box so if anything you should leave the passenger one in:dontknow: this is just what i got when looking at Kevan's truck

If you plan on hitting the triple digits for more than a quarter mile,I would leave them in.They are there for high speed air control (aero) and under the hood area.
