Black Powder Coated Calipers

Here are the pics of the calipers.

Did you do it yourself or did somebody else do them? If you did it, how? And if you had somebody else do them, how?

I just sent the calipers without the pads to a friend who owns a powder coating shop. I didn't have to remove any of the seals or pistons. Once I got them back I put on the silver viper decals and then clear coated over that.

Note: It is very important to send all of the little bolts as to not get any material inside the threads. Also, the original paint had to be burnt off with an acetylene torch. Paint remover and a special stripper he uses that cost $3000.00 a 55 gallon drum could not get the original paint off.

After he burnt the paint off with the torch, he did clean them up using a sandblaster.
