Blacking out the Challey

Blacked out a chrome trim piece that goes around the shifter. Any time you drive during the day, the sun reflects off the trim and blinds you. I have had to put my hand over it while driving because it was so bright.

Then while I was at it, I blacked out the chrome grill.

I tried the Plasti-dip thing. Actually came out really nice. I wanted to see how I would like it first. If i didn't, I could peel it off.

They make a black chrome piece for the grill. I think I will eventually get it.
To replace it, you have to pull the whole front bumper off. Supposedly it's not that bad.

Yeah I like how it breaks up all the black on the grille

This is how The Wifes turned out. Changed the grill surrond, tinted the headlights & the fog lamps.

Also decided to put the chrome logo letters back on the painted taillights

Wes, I like the shifter ring on yours, i have the same issue with glare. What dip did you use?
