Blacking out the Challey

Blacked out a chrome trim piece that goes around the shifter. Any time you drive during the day, the sun reflects off the trim and blinds you. I have had to put my hand over it while driving because it was so bright.

Then while I was at it, I blacked out the chrome grill.

I tried the Plasti-dip thing. Actually came out really nice. I wanted to see how I would like it first. If i didn't, I could peel it off. :D
 
I kept going between painting it black or Orange :dontknow:
 
I sorta like the looks of this

They make a black chrome piece for the grill. I think I will eventually get it.
To replace it, you have to pull the whole front bumper off. Supposedly it's not that bad.
 
This is how The Wifes turned out. Changed the grill surrond, tinted the headlights & the fog lamps.

Also decided to put the chrome logo letters back on the painted taillights

Wes, I like the shifter ring on yours, i have the same issue with glare. What dip did you use?
