Well, the heads are back from the Machinist for the second time. He reworked both sides. The intake side is flowing 347 (was 320) and the exhaust side is flowing 289 (was 266). The crank is balanced (rods were 100 grams heavier than stock each). The billet main caps had to be modified for some reason, he had to shave em 3 one thousandths or so...Block is honed and ready to go. Dave hopes to have it back in the truck by theweekend. Then, its sealed ram air time and off to the dyno for a look see.....Preliminary guesses are 800 rwhp ish although the machinist is claiming 900....well see. I would be happy with anything over 750 (without boosting the Paxton, and the NOS) with the 10 pound pulley I hope to be well into the 800's.
