So bleeding clutch, got the cap off the reservoir, clutch depressed, one bleed cycle.

Start to repeat process, make sure master cylinder is still full, get under the truck and see a rubber cup same size as master cycling laying on the floor under the Trans cross member!

Looks like it goes in the master cylinder, based on size, but how did it come out without all of the fluid along with it????

Where does this go?

come out of the clutch resevior, just slip the top part in the cap, then reinstall cap, probably fell out and you just missed it

Installed, getting ready to go test it all out now...

be interestin to know the proper name & the reason for it:dontknow:

Didn't really notice a TON of difference, like others recently...

It may be a little easier to get into gear than before. I ran out of new fluid before I got all of the gunk out of there, so I'll be re-performing this later. Guess this is the new "it thing" these days. Lots of people doing it!!

It's basically there to help prevent moisture from entering system.

It'll sure help going into gears easier. Especially first and reverse :)
Keep that fluid clean and you're clutch will thank you. ;)
