Blew the trans. too

Ha...

Joe at westminster called....he went and picked up the tranny when the motor was out....

I bent the intermediate shaft....glazed the 3rd gear plates and put some hurtin on the trq converter....

All fixed or upgraded thanx to Joe....trans is good for a 700 shot of juice.....:rock:

Do you have a pic of the intermediate shaft?
 
Will have Joe send me the old shaft......he was just pulling the trans apart to inspect it...and the shaft wouldn't come out....when he finally got it out he rolled it across the table and sure enough.....wobble....wobble..replace with a billet piece....he upgraded 3rd gear to 6 discs instead of 5 with a new product that is not available to the public yet...:dontknow: ....more valvebody work....redid the conveter....blah blah...

Motor is supposed to be done this week says EED....????

It's funny....when I first went to Joe I told him I needed a trans that would handle 650 rwhp.....he said we will build you one that can handle close to a 1000 rwhp....little did I know that wouldn't be enough.....:D ....I think I am good to 1800 now....:D

Hello NASA? Yes, my name is Mike and I'm planning on launching some cylinder heads into space sometime next month. It will probably be on a Saturday or Sunday. Oh, and there may be some small pieces of hood that get carried along also.

No, sorry, can't really nail an exact time down at this time, but I'm sure you will hear the launch when it happens.

building it to handle a 700 shot....will be running a 250-300....wise ass....:D ....my trans will be closer to the ones used in tractor pulls than to a stocker....
 
Maybe we can use this as a test. If we let our government know when Mike is going to run it full out. They could put that 747 airborne missile defence plane up in the air to shoot down his engine parts when they hit the stratusphere.:p I wish you all the best Mike, you do realize your nuts, right.:D

A little off-topic, did we ever get those numbers on the vette...
