Has anyone seen this before? I have blown my #2 fuse, {engine control relay.}
Its a 30 amp fuse. It has blown twice. Kills engine instantly. The first time it happened was about a month ago, now it happened again. Luckily I had an extra fuse. After I install the fuse it starts up no problem..????

Thanks for any ideas, John :dontknow:

I have quite a few mods but I went over everything. The last mod was a vec 3 inplace of my split second box. I agree it's blowing for a reason.
I'm afraid that if I take it to the dealer they will blame it on anything they can so as not to find the real reason for the problem.

Unfortunely John that is probably what will happen...the dealer is going to say the mods caused it because reasons for fuses blowing can be hard to find. You should find a dealer that is mod friendly (mine is)....something most people dont know is dealers have a system for "black balling" owners with mods..

I met a guy at the Mopar show that had a supercharged SRT8 300....he was having brake problems and his dealer in VA would not fix them under warranty because the car was modded...I told him to contact my service mgr...long story short...my service mgr replaced his brakes under warranty but he mentioned that the other dealer had put an warranty alert on the powertrain because of mods.

My service mgr said this alert goes nation wide and no dealer will be able to repair any of the power train and get Chrysler to warranty it...:mad:

I guess I'm going to bite the bullet and let them look at it unless someone
comes up with somthing I haven't thought of.
Unfortunatly I have had a bad experiance with dealers. Mayby I'm just being
negitive. Thanks for the input. If ya'll come up with any ideas please let me know.
By the way I read this forum daily. It's both informative and intertaining.
The kowledge that is on this forum has really helped save money and make better mod. choices. Thanks

Call Sean Roe...(904) 529-1219

Thanks guys, I don't know if the vec has been wet. I'll call Sean tomorrow.
When I figure it out I'll post the out come. Thanks again.
John
