Trust me it definitely can be done, in a stock 10......my local bike dealer Broward Motor Sports, the head tech in there swears up and down that a 600 can only reach 160MPH tops on GPS not speedo...period modded or not (the fact of displacement) once you bore you gain MPH.....
On the hwy from a roll if you leave in a similar shift and speed there is no reason why a stock 10 can't hang if not beat a 600...
I burned a triumph like it wasn't even there, I know it's not a sport bike but it's still a bike
