Blue Tooth Set Up?

My QC apparently has the Blue Tooth capability in the mirror, and voice activation! I cant seem to get it to work apparently when you hold in the phone button you are supposed to get voice prompts???? Nothing happening??? There is a green light that indicates the auto dimming facility auto or off, and it looks like there is an indicator light on the phone side but it is not illuminated??????

Any ideas on this one gang???

Do you have the volume on the head unit turned up?
Do you have the ignition key on the "on" position?
 
RTFM....(read the frick'n manual)...no no just kidding.... I've got mine working... don't hold it.... just push it... should start talking... I believe you want to say phone pairing... then go through the monkey procedure.... if not just say help.... I don't think mine's voice activated .. you do gotta click on it... if you hit the button just right of the u-connect button... (the little guy's head) then you can say the next command...

and yeah lol... what Roz said :p... if you have screen GPS the bluetooth info will show up on screen... if not... <shrug>... btw... mine's on an 06... if that makes any differences... <shrug again>

Sarcasm the lowest form of wit " but the best" LMAO yes the key is in and volume up red the book etc Pressed the buttons NOTHING!!! ???

Let me ask you this does the little green indicator light on the left side of the mirror illuminate at all? I red the book it should be fool proof right ????DUH!!!!!:dontknow:
 
Ohhhh you have to talk dirty to it first to open up... ;)

F-ing blue tooth pairing should be an easy thing. I still cant link my garage door to my home link buttons...

The garage door is next, and yep had a problem with that one with the last QC 10!!!!!:dontknow:

Yep... Holding buttons down, running back and forth to the opener and the truck.. Is it canadian or US? F this thing... Bwahahaha
 
take your 10 to the dealer and have them check it out. i, and several others had to have a module upgrade... now mine works good...

i dunno aboot the light... but it should be talking to you... as for the garage door... I'm a fairly technical guy and even I had to open the manual to get it going... the big trick... is once u get the remote programmed... gotta hit the button on ur garage door unit (inside the garage) to get it to work... and yeah to reset the remote you gotta hold the outer 2 buttons for 30 seconds or some nonsense...

ya u can always take it to the dealer...

No, the only light is for the auto dimming.
