ya the new m5 is a fast biotch... lol.. but some of the older ones are no problem.. i reaced one from 30 to 120 and put maybe 2 cars on him... we ran about 6x lol.. he was upset to say the least

Yea the older ones with the v8 should be owned by our trucks. I went up against a new m5 and I don't even want to call it a race...he left like I was standing still. Could also be the 8000 before you hit redline that has something to do with it?

Bottom line, my mates 2000 M5 with all the work done beat me.

Nothing else has and my QC is pretty stock.

My sister has an 04 M3 Convertible with BMW's lousy manual/semi automatic transmission doohickey. Straight line there is no chance unless I just completely goof up and completely light up the rear end. Even then I come up so fast I can see the whites of her eyes in teh rear view just before I storm by. Super tight road course I think the M3 would pull away. Once our trucks break loose very hard to save it whereas the BMW tracks pretty good even sideways. Most cases it would come down to driver skill in the corners.

I did 3 runs against the M3 V8 last year here in town.
0-60 and he didn't got past me.
But 60-up he is gone

The new 420hp V8 is not much faster then the old M3 with 343hp.

I didn't expect it to even be a race. The v10 m5 puts out 500+hp in a car that redlined over 8000 rpms. I just wanted to see how much faster it was. Theres not even many rc's here that will hang with it:....maybe yours on the gogo juice...
by the way I got the qc not fir groceries but for an usable back seat
