I just talked to Boomer and he asked me to update all of you on his projects.

He has been crazy busy and hasn`t been able to respond to the forum as much as he has liked.

Here is what he has in the works: He is trying to get the new shifter done, take care of normal orders, and running parts thru the CNC .

He HOPES to be online by Friday.

Between X-Metal & the dealership, its been VERY busy & stressful, with the spring time fever and all.

Top it all of Gary has 3 Viper engine builds, a custom turbo project & Kawasaki, Victory, KTM, Polaris, Kymco, all wanting orders for 2007 models .

He hasn`t even gotten all his `06 models in yet.

Gary asks that you all be patient and he will be back....soon.:D :D

Aski him if he wants some cheese with that whine...LOL!!! Actually, I'm teasing, I got a surprise in the mail today from Boomer...my electric fan kit. He is working and shipping stuff, we need him doing that kind of stuff!!!

Thank you Boomer!!!!

Oh, and for the record, the 170 thermostat didn't do shit for the truck on 102 weather like it was here today. It MIGHT be running a few degrees cooler, but it's still at 205-210 in traffic and the A/C don't work for spit. I'm hoping the fan kit makes it all better...

hey texas yellow fever,

let us know if that fan works

i live in houston and my truck runs that hot and im curious if it works for you

thanks

I'll try to get it put on this weekend and I'll post my impression after I've driven it for a couple of days. I sure can't hurt...LOL!!!

Are you expecting any horsepower gains from it as well?

yes let us all know, my ac doesnt work all that well in the heat, i pulled a vacuum on it last summer and it did a little better just to make sure it had the right amount of freon in it .seems like there would be a way to get our fans on a switch.

HA!. I knew i wasn't alone when it comes to the A/C not blowing as cold as it should. Last time i mentioned that, nobody else had similiar problems. Glad im not alone.

Mine is running over 200 with the 170* t-stat and Stage 2 flash.Temps today were low-to-mid 80's with breezes and the A/C was running high and didn't impress me at all.
Time for fans for me , too.

One of my AC lines had a small hole in it.......

With my DC flash I can't get the truck to run over 200.....ever.....

this is a cooling post i just did...............
we have them on stock, the stock stat doenst get the water flowing soon enough, enough at high way speeds. we also now have a bolt in HI-FLOW lectric pusher fan kit, with a thermostatic controller, that controls the fan operation when you choose your desired operating temp range as well as you can configure it to come on when the AC is turned on, so that the AC can really start to cool down, and we all know that the stock AC system in these trucks leaves a lot to be desired. thats due to the stock cooling fan doenst cycle soon enough or fast enough for the AC, especially when sitting in traffic.
the t-stats are 28.95, and the pusher fan kit w.controller is $199.

Even with that...In FL you R NOT going to get Nowwhats results. Dont even try! It is WAAAAYYY too hot and humid to get those results. Im getting just a hair under 195 at best. Keep in mind its 92 deg and humid as hell. Dual LG elec fans and the kicker might work but it will def not be under 180.
