  ...two times!

I just got my truck back from the dealer. The Viper master & slave, centerforce & stock flywheel are super awesome! I was expecting a "heavier" clutch pedal as compared to stock, but it seems much "lighter." I do not know for sure, I haven't driven my truck for almost 4 weeks! If you have the chance, put this in....just like all before me who have said this very same thing!

It's good to have it back!

Congrads, and yes it is much lighter!

500 miles not a mile less of city driving no heavy hits or loads...then...drive it like you stole it.

I know, that's why...

...that's why I set my new Raptor Shift Light at a measly 3,500 RPM. Thing is, driving this truck slow and easy still beats the crap out of the mini-van they let me drive!:toilet:

Exactly!

Will just upgrading to the Viper metal pieces and not the clutch all at once make a noticeable improvement over stock or does it all work out better as a complete package??

Why pull the transmission twice? Do the full job...Clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing, slave and master cylinder. That's my opinion, but my way of doing things may not be your cup of tea.

For instance I am about to change the timing belt on my Volvo...I will replace the water pump, and front right motor mount at the same time...the first 40 % of the work is all the same for all three repairs...why not go ahead and spend a little extra in a proactive approach to doing things that might require repair in the future?

But different strokes for different folks.

Seriously lighter. I knew I was feeling a clutch spring under the pedal, but I couldn't believe it. I assumed it had to be air bubbles and bled it twice before I simply had to accept that it was that much better. I'm now 300 miles in and really liking the feel so far...

Well yeah that does makes sense... Guess I better keep saving some more then... I guess I was trying to upgrade as $$$ allowed, but I see your point now on the complete package...Thanks!!

right on bro. when i did R&D on the first upgrade back in 2004, it was a lot of trial and error since nothing existed back then for the SRT10. once i got it figured out, it was the why Dodge should have done it to begin with!
