around 580 RWHP. Im hearing of people with paxtons making 700 RWHP on stock internals! Roe makes a 10 lb but not an 8??Que pasa?

Did Sean send you a tune for that pulley?

I have plenty to go around if I can't get a hold of that certain someone

I talked to that certain someone this week and he told me he was going to get with you that day. My engine is almost ready to go back into my truck. If all goes well in 2 to 3 weeks I will be able to fire it up. I need the small pulley. Let me know if I can do anything to help things along.

I r2'd the #3 rod.

I believe 600rw with his forged piston and stock rods will live a long time. That will be 9 psi.
The last 2 650+ paxtons were logging 12 psi at 6000rpm. The STS will be at 9psi at 3000rpm, putting greater stress on the rods.

The short version is that the less static compression you have, the more boost you can run.

With my Z, I ran 7.5 to 1 CR and up to 40 pounds of boost.

For like cylinder pressures with a high compression motor with low boost, and a low compression motor with high boost, you will always get more power out of the later motor.

You had a 7lb pulley on a ROE on stock guts and it blew? What died?
Did you have it tuned before hand?

Regarding boost on the Roe unit, Sean wrote to me with some interesting info


We don’t stock any other size.

The one you have could be turned down in diameter.

Every pound of boost is about 22 more HP and 25 ft/lbs of torque.

I don’t have the math in front of me, but about every 0.100â€￾ off the diameter is another psi.



So I guess those peeps with 7 ,8,9,10 lb pulleys machined them themselves.
But does the tune change?
