Bought a new toy today

So I'm here hanging out in lovely Boise ID on my way out to Portland and Seattle for the ever favorite Car Toys Tent Sales :2in1: and had to run the Harley dealer for some parts for my bike. Started looking around and saw the V-Rod night rod that I've had my eye on for quite some time, started chatting with the guy took it for a ride and just had to have it. Got a killer price on it, traded my old Sporty in on even tho I didn't get quite what I wanted for the trade, the out the door price was about $6k less than I could get it at home. So I'm the pround new owner of an 06 V-Rod Night Rod, will post up some pics shortly. Riding it back to the hotel from the dealer was giving me goose bumps.....nothing like looking at the odometer and seeing 000001 for milage!!!

I'm half way there:rock: Local Harley dealer here in Portland had a summer fun run today, so now I have 228 miles on her. Once I broke the 5o mi mark I could get it up over 4k rpm, all I can say is WOW!!! Gonna try and ride out to the Dalles and round Mt Hood tomorrow/this week and hit that 500 mi mark so when I get up to Seattle I can have her serviced and then its all

Washington state is a Festering Shithole. Nine months of gray skies and rain will drive you crazy. We have had 3 days now of 90+ degree weather. The news is calling it a heat wave and the state has called a Heat Alert. This place sucks.

I should get into town about the 31st of July be there thru the 14th, first week I'll be at my buddy new house in the Redmond area then the ol tent sale will be at the lovely South Center mall this year....would be cool to do a mini meet with some the local guys, maybe we should start a new thread and set something up. I don't mind crusin around a bit to meet up so lets see what we can get together

South Center area works for me. Ever been to a Claim Jumper Resturant? Good food, lots of it (I think they can even fill up Mikey ), and the beer is good and cold.

To bad you won't be in the area on the 29th. We are getting together at the Tides Tavern over in Gig Harbor.

While you are in the Redmond area you should go with your buddy to Park Place Limited to look at cars. They have some fine automobiles there. Here is a link to their site.
