I have no illusions that beating the pros is a game mostly lost. I paid full sticker price for my 300C SRT8, and VERY willingly! It was the best deal around when they were goin for $5k over everywhere else.

But then again "lost" is a philosophical question. They're in business to make money understandably. There's nothing wrong with them doing that. It's the American way.

It's also the American way of business to occassionally make the wrong decision. You'd be surprised how many cars get wholesaled off the lot. Technically they should have wholesaled it after 120 days. For whatever reason they didn't.
 
I paid 35k for my 06 RC and I had to go to IL to find it, pay to have it shipped, and register it in NY. I thought I got a deal. :(

Yes we do. Like I said, paying full sticker for my SRT8 was a great deal!

Now they can be had for $7k UNDER MSRP. :( In the long run it was a poor financial decision.

We all get nabbed, now with the truck purchase I feel a little vindicated.
