Has anyone installed BIGGER disks (and pads) on their truck? If so, which ones... .:dontknow:
Race brake oil + SS lines might not solve the spongy feeling on a track... .

I would give Dave at www.zeckhausen.com a call,Great guy and can probably help you out.

I would try Stinkers SS lines and get a good set of pads first. Then get yourself some drilled rotors to keep the brakes cooler.

Jan is 15 inch not big enough?

try other brake pads EBC green or Yellow for track use.
maybe dot 5 brake oil with other brake lines.

I was looking for a complete brembo replacement but can not find brembo calipers:dontknow:
They have brembo rotors.

So i install EBC rotors and put new brake oil in.
The old brake oil looks like old motoroil.:D

EBC's new red pad is much better for a street and race application. Yellows more for road racing. The greens are no better than stock pads

Jan....Try to get some air from the front to cool the brakes....It will make wonders for the front brakes..:burnout:

Have done it on several of my past cars and it works great even on a street driven car/truck.....

Stefan....

i just put EBC green's in yesterday ( had them long time )... not to early :    the inside pads in front were almost on metal...:(
next pads will need new rotors... :( :( :p :D :D :D

Alex

I am confused. Are you saying they make Brembo's for our truck?

Yes brembo makes rotors for the ram srt-10.
I did ask here in Holland at a dealership.
First they told me that they where bigger then the oem rotors, but they have the same size.
They cost 4000 euro for 4 rotors with brakepads.(that's more then 6.000 dollar)
I ask is that including calipers and brakelines,no they said.:D

So i got the EBC rotors/brakepads(they cost me 900 euro incl shipping from the US)

Alex

In my opion, Zeckhausen, for the price and performance you can not beat them .
