Ok fellas went to autozone and advance and o riellys to get some performance friction pads , no go, no one carries them anymore in my area

BUT

IF someone could please give me the numbers for the front pads, rear pads for an 04
and the numbers for what is available for the 05, and the prices ya'll paid for them.

i am going to call my old contact at performance friction monday and see if I can still get us a deall on them.

I used to deal with them all the time when I raced and they are only about 40 minutes from me, so hopefully the guy is still there.

I dont know what if anything they will do , but gonna try

oh and post up if you are interested and that will give me an idea of how many to ask for , and hopefully a better discount .

thanks guys

Stinker, any Autozone can get them overnight for about $45 per pair. Or you can order them at Autozone.com online.

For the 04 fronts get part # 0965-20
Rear 04-05 get part# 0702-20

Good luck.

I just remembered. you put on the new axle set-up, so it won't work for the rear!!

LOL thanks bro!
yeah thats what made me go after the performance friction for the front.

i drove to booomers and back and the rear had almost vertually no dust at all!

the fronts however:D

I put a pair of EBCs on the front of the red truck and the dust was worse than stock pads.

Replaced everything on the red truck with Performance Friction from AutoZone (before they quit selling them) and they are great.

I would guys, but I used perfmance friction for alot of years and they always worked great!

but like I say , they are just below the house and a great group of fellas , so hoping for a killer price:rock:

The Friction Master set I got wasn't correctly made. They had to be modified to fit.
That's not exactly confidence-instilling.
(See also the 100+ posts here about filing/grinding the notches)

Next month: Centric from Zeckhausen all the way around. Slotted rotors & pads.
I'm done screwing around with false claims and inaccurate measurements.
