brake pads noise

I installed the performance friction pads on month ago. Today, my girl told me that she heard a noise from the brake pads. I was not sure what is wrong with it since I couldn't hear it. I want to ask you all what should i do? Is it serious problem or what? Thanks.

First of all, you have to make sure the rotors are sanded (nondirectionally) lightly during the install. This is done to remove the residue from the OEM pads that builds up on your rotor surface. That will cause noise with the new pads.

Secondly, moparracing is correct. The new pads need to be bedded properly.

Ok thanks for informations. I will try sand the rotors and check if the pads are bedded properly tonight.
