BRAKE PADS

AutoZone called me this afternoon..... They have my rear pads....

Bro, there is (again) no reason in hell that your local AutoZone cannot do the same for you....

Tim, I do not know what is wrong with these stores. I to tried to order pads from local AutoZone with no luck, Went to Napa Auto Parts, And they had no idea how to order these pads. I gave up and went else ware.I guess they don't need the money?
 
I am going to try summit,Jegs,and JC Whitney and see if they have them.


Summit doesn't have them
Jeg's has them for $60

Put Performance Friction front and rear ceramic pads on my 05 QC over a year ago from Advance Auto Parts. Think I had to wait one day for the rears.
Thought the 05's were the same OC and RC?
99% dust free with minimal loss in pedal feel and didn't care for the grabby feel of the stockers anyway.

Part # CMX1085 Front and CMX705 rear

44,000 miles on my stockers. ( THE DUST ):(
 
Advance has them for $65.99.

Is there anyone that can find a set for me at AutoZone for less than $35 and ship them to me ? :dontknow:

I could not believe that you couldn't get these from AutoZone....

So, I called YOUR AutoZone in Luray, VA and I talked to Kim....

Although they are closed right now, She does have the rears and she's holding them for you..... (540)743-3100....

Kim sez you asked her for the wrong part number....

The rear pads are 0702-20.... I won't get into whether or not you really did give the wrong part number....

Just know that she's holding these pads for you ($49.95) at the desk under HOT RAM......

You can probably mail order em for $45 (performance friction).
Everytime I need a part anymore it is $30 or $40 dollars more from Advance and Auto Zone than you can get the same part for online (on a couple hundred dollar part like a radiator or rack and pinion) plus tax also.
Still go to the store cause I need it today not on backorder for a month like some online places!

Well, sorry.... But that is contrary to my experience.

AutoZone was less here $46.95 (rears) as opposed to nearly 70 bux from Performance friction...... Being a Sicilian Jew, I'm sensitive to such things and would never pay more than I have to....

The front pads are $36.95... You won't beat that online...specially when you factor in shipping....

If you can, I'll gladly eat my words....
