Brake pads?

Has anyone used akebono pads? Love them on my car, Just wanted to get opinions on the truck. What pads are the best recommendation. I have the stock calipers, and I believe I have the stop tech rotors cross drilled and slotted. They were on the truck when I bought it.

And if the rotors aren't grooved to bad, do you think I can get away with just changing the pads.

And what size Allen key do I need for that center bolt that holds the pads in?

I have Zeckhausen pads on the front. They don't have the initial hard bite that the stockers do but they don't squeak or dust near as bad.
If I ever have to replace them I'll probably try EBC just because I like to try new things.

I would have the rotors turned.
