Brake peddle ????

How much side to side movement is or does your brake peddle have??? I just noticed mine has what appears to me to be a lot..... I looked under the dash and everything appears to be ok...

I have what appears to be 1" -1.5" side to side movt. its annoying but I dont know what to do about it or if thats the design of it?

thats what type of movement mine has around 1 to 2 inches ----it's funny how I just noticed this today after owning the truck for several years:dontknow: ...

its annoying at times...it doesnt seem like that would be right... but I dont know enough to confirm or deny if that is the design.

I had mine replaced under warranty. There is a plastic clip or something that stops it from moving side to side. When you get out of the truck, dont use the peddals to push against to get out of the truck. My new one has little to no play in it.
