After 3 very long road trips and hauling 500-900lbs in the truck each time plus summer heat, I think my front brakes are shot. When I come to a stop, even at medium speeds, the steering wheel starts wobbling pretty good. Should I replace rotors and pads or just one or the other?

More than likely your pads are toast, and your rotors either need replacing or you can check and see if you can have them turned. I wouldn't suggest just doing one or the other.

might have a caliper issue also these things are pretty well known for it reason i am having to rebuild mine this winter passenger side one keeps sticking. after i thought it was just a rotor issue and did a brake job and cut the rotors problem was back in 2k miles.

how can I tell if the caliper is sticking? Truck has 121k on it, so it wouldn't be surprising if that was an issue.

check your hub bearings also

They do not recommend turning the OEM Rotors from what i have heard.

I have slotted and dimpled rotors anyways, so probably need to just get new ones as has been suggested. it didn't help that there was a lot of my long drives that was through the mountains, so a lot of up and down hill braking plus the weight I was hauling in the bed. And I did some spirited driving at times through the curvy parts lol

CarQuest was able to turn my EBC rotors. had to use their flywheel surface machine. was the best rotor surfacin i have ever had done

yeah i had my stock rotors turned with no problem. but the guy that did it doesn't charge me much. but this winter will be getting new probably dimpled and slotted rotors. as far as how to tell if a caliper is sticking hard to say on that one i have noticed over time i brake and i can feel drag in the front of the vehicle or it will pull slightly. but originally i thought it was from prior summer we got flooding galore so figured rotor might of gotten 1/2 submerged and caused warping.
