Let's see your knowledge about this.

how many brands there're on the market and what the price ?
 
as long as your stock ones aren't beyond spec's thikness and not out of balance .... why should you change them ? i don't think any other cast iron will do so much better... unless of course you go ceramic :D

i know Porsche ask about 12K extra option for ceramic rotors....:eek:

Well, Barry that's not correct. After 600 km, on my mercedes ML, my stock rotors were like a LP record :mad: .
I've changed them with other cast iron but slotted, and they are much better.
ML is automatic, so you don't have engine brake with downshift, you have a hard work on the rotors.

What I wanna say...... there're many type of cast iron.... you must use a better one, to have a very good result.

Ceramic isn't in my mind nowadays, too expensive.
