i was on the forum and it seems that the performance friction pad from autozone produces the least amount of dust......ok ..i went to autozone and tried to order and the manager told me that they don't sale alot of those pads because they eat up the rotors......stay with me, my question--those of you with these pads have you noticed this or are you happy with them....:dontknow: :dontknow:

Good question.I never heard that before.I am thinking of getting new ones myself,so I am interested in the responses this will get.

:bs: although i only have a couple of hundred miles on them. i bet they tried to sell you a more expensive pad?

well..they told me to go to o'reileys and try ebc's.....this guy has been at autozone for ten years and allways helps me never had a problem......but if the guys on this site tell me they are happy with the pfpads then i'm going to try them.......

get these pads..

i am currently using these pads and i can't say anything but good about them..
stop just as good as the stockers but the "grab" you feel from the stock pads
goes away..

forgot to mention that the dust difference is amazing.. :)

I have been running the Performance Friction ones for about 2 years, and I have had no problems, and practically no dust since.

EBC Redstuff pads are "dustless"

Hi Everyone,
We are now an authorized distributor for EBC brake products including pads AND slotted & dimpled rotors for the SRT-10 trucks. The EBC Redstuff pads are the best performing "dustless" pads on the market. (please see link below) The EBC pads referred to earlier in this thread must have been the Greenstuff pads as they only have slightly less dust than the OEM pads. I hope this info helps.
Regards, Dave

nearly no dusting & no noise........ can't always say that about ebc....:D

I've got the EBC greens on my truck and yes they produce less dust than the stockers. But I've noticed that after doing alot of strop and go in town traffic the pads will warm up and grab harder but also transfer material to the rotor
:( this causes a shaking in the truck under braking. I can usually overcome the problem by performing a couple of Hi energy stops.
I've got a set of PF pads that have been cryo-treated(like my current rotors and pads) waiting for the EBC's to wear out so I can put them on. Guess I need to go hit the road course:D

I have had both, EBC's took them off after 1500 miles. Too much dust and not really great stopping. I will give them to anybody that wants to pay shipping.

Performance Friction, dust is almost nill, and they stop great, and no rotor wear.

Ive got the EBC Yellows...almost no dust, but more of a track pad...they work great when heated up.

You held out longer than I did Jack, lol. :p I pulled my EBCs back off after one trip to the grocery store. :D

Performance Friction pads rock.

I have to agree... The PF pads rock.........

No fade or excess rotor wear....... Almost zero dust and half the cost of Zeckhausens (sp?)......

What's not to like........?
