So whats involved in swapping 05 front brakes on to a 04.. I have done some research and i think the rotors are the same size between 04/05 so it looks like a simple caliper swap.. and another i saw in another thread here that the front calipers are pretty cheap like 200 a piece.. any help here guys..

no difference in stopping unless you are jsut going for looks
so can any one chime in is it a direct bolt on for the front calipers.. i checked the rotors they are the same.. and you cant beat the price i found them new for 135. I just like the look of the non floating caliper

the stock calipers are great, i would upgrade the rotors. i use centric slotted rotors. stop amazingly great

the spindles should be close to the same, if you could con someone into measuring the distance of bolt holes that would help, but they should bolt up, 05 calipers sell for about $200 retail new from the dealer.

They dont have caliper brakets.. Basically the 4 piston caliper serves as the braket and caliper together. If someone has access to a parts numbers you could tell fairlly easy just see if both the 04- 05 have the same part number steering knuckle. If the knuckle and rotor is the same than the position of the caliper will be...
