FYI "Oh I just relized that his rims must be OEM that have been cromed?" should read "Oh I just REALIZED that his rims must be OEM that have been CHROMED?"

"I have concidered them." should read "I have CONSIDERED them"

"I only stated the price differances because I was trying to clue someone in on something that they might not have realized." should read I only stated the price DIFFERENCES (no apostrophe) because I was trying to clue someone in on something that they might not have realized.

Know your shit before you rag on others, slick.

        You beat me to it. I was getting ready to smoke him too.

Yes they are full chrome on the inside as well.

Steve,

How good is the chrome? Is it show car type work front & back, or did they kind of half ass the back side of the wheel?

who makes? Do you have a linky? And is there a difference in braking abilities?:D
Performance Friction Brakes makes them. You can get them from Autozone for about $45 a set. Part#'s - Front 0965.20 Rear 0702.20

EBC pads from Boomer will do.
I give Boomer alot of business and support him fully, actually consider him a friend. I would get the EBCs from him if I had an 05 or newer truck. However, there is no comparison in the amount of dust that the EBC pads still leave on your wheel (still alot) and the amount that PF pads leave (None!). I know because I have had both on my truck. Truck still stops great but won't toss you thru the windshield like the stockers. Good luck with the pads.

Sorry for the thread stomp Steve. My apologies. Hope you sell your rims. They look great

The chrome is awsome. Even the inside is well done. The only thing is the inside is not perectly smooth. You can see some machining under the chrome. Very slight lines from material removal after production.

All I can tell you is that I am 1000 % detail oriented and these wheels would go on my own truck.

Steve,
I am very interested in a set of these, but the finish on the inside of the wheel in the 2nd and 3rd pic is what I was afraid of. Is there any chance the maker can polish the chrome on the inside of the wheel to have the same finish as the outside?

Thanks,
Jeff

I looked into that for you jeff but they say it is not worth it to them to polish the inside like the outside. The finish is better than the pics I put up but it is not even close to the finish on the outside. It is more like an OEM wheel that is not polished on the inside.

Sorry I did my best but they are not interested.

It's a shame they weren't Black Chrome, those would look great on my Yellow !!!!

I'm a girl so excuse me if this is blonde, but don't they have to polish the inside of the wheel BEFORE they chrome it?? :dontknow:   :)

Well if you pay attention to the little :thefinger: at the bottom of my post. You can figure that I mean no harm. Besides they started it. :aetsch:

Sorry, but I gotta laugh :D :dancing: :star: I need to add the old standy back to my siggy line. "guys are way chickier than chicks" :p :p :D

Yes the inside of the rim is polished before chroming but it is not polished to a show chrome finish after chroming. It is polished to a shine but not polished as much as the outer finish. Inside and outside of the rim are 2 different finishes.

Hope this helps
