BREAKAWAY LEARNING EXPERIENCE

ONCE I learned not to spin through 1st [this took several runs getting beat by a ford lightening], I finally beat him running a 8.501 to his 8.874. That felt so good that I made a solo run of 8.370. I have video and will make it available as soon as I figure out how! Anyway, I want to order some M/T street slicks, but am clueless on what size tire/rim combo to get...HELP. THANKS IN ADVANCE 4 ANY HELP. Brian.

Good job and sounds like you had fun. As far as tires go you can get the M&H 390 Drag Radial (Site Vendor) on Eagle 58's, 17" rim. That is about your only option. Unless you grind down the rear calipers so slicks will fit, or buy a custom rear end from Stinker.

Do a search for Drag Radials for more info. Lots of stuff just can't remeber it all.

The guy in the "L" I was racing knew it was my lame assed driving he was Beating. He even complimented me on the 8.37 run......and then left for the day. seriously though, nice guy aside from his taste in trucks

FWIW, when I ran a 12.66 @ 111 in the 1/4 in my '04, my 1/8 time was 8.25.

Sweet! I forgot to say WELCOME TO THE RBC!!! We need to finalize the track rental plans....I'm down for what ever.....20 trucks would be $100 a piece.....if we want more then we could always open it up to the hemi guys:dontknow:
