I saw it happen at pcb, the stupid plastic piece on the end of the cable fell off.

Yeah kinda killed it before it got fun, oh well. Can't belive out of all the things that could break from launching at 5k rpm with slicks it'd end up being a $3 piece of plastic

Great times......that beats my best speed of (118.15)....congrats! What is the current rear tire combo? I assume you still have the 4.10's.

Thanks jerry, I thought the 118 pass was close to your mph. Still have the 4.10's with the 28" tire, I did buy some 30" m&h slicks like yours to run in drag week with the nitrous though. Really think that last pass would've been a good one, the first pass was a 4k launch with 13psi in the tires(1.66 60') second pass was 4500 launch still on 13psi and it spun a little(1.67 60') so for the last pass I had it at 11psi and a full 5k launch which got me a 1.64 60', cable broke on the 1-2 shift.

No technique with the slicks really, just rev the piss out of it and dump the clutch.
