So i snapped the handle on my aluminum handle b & M. I went ahead and drilled my stock hurst and put it on just to be able to move the truck aroud.

I got around to calling B&M today to see if I could warranty the alum handle for a steel... They proceed to tell me that is discountinued and they dont have any more or make em.  The techline was useless....I said what about the warranty?? They asked me to consult the dlr i bought it from. They said or claimed that there is no other handle either that will bolt up to it:mad:

So hung up with them and called up atlantic speed and explained the situation. He was surprised to how b&m handled this and said he was not aware of the aluminum handles that were snapping and even less aware of the b &m with steel handles:confused:

Well long story short he asked me to call him and talk to the owner of the ebay store on monday and more likely then not he will get me a new shifter:rock:

Hopefully this works out...

but get this, the idiot from b &m said well since i can do nothing for you why dont you just put the stocker back on??? WTF?! are you serious?

I bet you managed to get someone who didn't care about B&Ms product line or the company they work for.. If someone has pride in the company they work for they would handle the situation much more differently. Sorry to hear about your loss :^/ On a side note i thought all B&M shifters came with Steel handles? :dontknow: Are you talking about that connecting rod that connects the base to the shifter knob or are you talking about an alum. shifter knob itself?

yeah i think might just do that, i prefer a ball though

Go to a old car swap meet, and get a pistolgrip shifter from around 1970, than cut it down a little bit and drill holes in it to bolt up to the shifter base. That is what I did, and trust me, King Kong ain't gonna break one of those handles.

Bill.

Well If you do need a stock one let me know, I have one laying around I'll give ya if you don't have your old one bro.
