After reading OCBobs note about his brother and knowing some of you guys pretty well, just thought I'd ask what you do....or look forward to doing with your...family. Brothers, sisters, cousins, parents. I left Wife and kids out...because if it's like at my house...I'm told what were going to do and how much fun we will have doing it :)
I lost my oldest brother 10 years ago and the best part out of the whole ordeal was it brought my other two brothers and I closer. We decided to hook up once a year in Albq. and head out for the lake. It is during the Mexican Holiday May 5'th so the drinks flow heavy. What started as three brothers planning a fishing trip has turned into "The Bro Tournament " last year there were over 50 guy's....all brothers, son's and dad's that come together to keep the memory of my brother and the way he lived alive. For 10years it's the same ol stories, same lie's, same ol' everything. I just can't wait to do it again.

Some of the guys that attended last year were either on the way to Iraq...or home for a short while.....Hats off to Vet's

So post up what you do, if anything with just the boyzzzz ( family ) to enjoy life and the persuit of happeness

Here is a video of last years fishing trip....enjoy.

Now that sounds cool. A great way to honor him and the rest of your family too. Who knows, maybe someday I'll join you there if it's open to outsiders. That day is pretty special round here too, the twins were born 05/05/05. Maybe when they're ready to drag along.

I really enjoy messing with my Bro's noggin....:D I also enjoy beating him up whenever I see him...He thinks he tough hahahaha all talk and I enjoy the smack talking we have 2,000 miles away from each other:nurse:

My son was born 5/5/93

Maybe Cinco de Mayo should be our day to remember our brothers on this site...every year.

Our way to say...brothers are very special...and will never ever be forgotten.

....the fishing has become an after thought now. It's great food and drink. No cell phone, No internet, No drama :) just lots of storys spread over three generations. Maybe deep down inside that is what some of us get out of this place.....or at least try to.

PROF.....let's all tip a glass of our favorite thirst quench 5/5/08.....just name a time and we will toast towards the heavens for those past and those we hope to meet...........

the nats have become something like that for me. meeting up with friends new and old. kinda like the hunting camps areound here during deer season.

That sounds like a great time. I have two brothers One older and one younger. One brother lives in Michigan and one is currently serving in Iraq. Both lived with me for about 2 years. We have hardly anything in common we all are opposites except one thing ...... shooting pool. We would go once a week just us and shoot pool. We worked together, lived together and it was just our time to put all the BS aside and shoot the S#*t. Now Tim’s in Iraq but has two boys and one girl and I just take them out until he returns SAFELY! As for Jake we talk about once a week. I don't think any of us will ever lose touch.................. but hopefully have another pool night soon.

As much as that would be fun.....Dawn asked me not to. Hates being torn between Good and Evil. Eddie is the good one.....she is just drawn to Evil.

GRIFF..........Hats off to your brother that serves, you'll be shooting 8 ball with him again soon I hope

Wazz, thats a really cool thing you guys do.

I know that my brothers and sisters all became even closer after our parents died. I talk with all 4 of them almost every week. We are spread out across the USA.

I do like the idea of a GTG honoring lost freinds.
