Browns gas or hydrogen conversion instructions needed

Left out yesterday, drove 100 miles thru small towns, then the rest on hwy except for a few small towns, got 30.24 mpg

came home today, unhooked it, ran the same route, same speed, and got 22.7 mpg

so gonna look into making the deal a touch more real
Wow Tony, that's a hell of a difference. I need to figure this thing out too I guess.

I've looked into doing this before but now I have actually gone and bought the parts to put one together. What plans did you go by Tony? Did you do anything with the O2 sensors so that they would lean the engine some? If this is a kit your trying to put together and market and don't want to reveal anything them bite me.:D Inquiring minds want to know. Oh yeah, not on the "10". Going to try it on my Buick :puke:

I was gonna say I have brown gas when I eat lotsa chili, but I guess thats a different topic..lol

not marketing it, but did just make a new one, will post picks later;)

With the rising prices of gas/oil, all the freaks come out of the woodwork to try and pawn their so called gas saving devices, the one that come to mind are:

- Water4Gas
- Tornado
- Diesel Kleen additive in GASOLINE!! (ikes!!)

There are a few others out there... not a single one of them work. They all got busted on Mythbusters.

The so called hyrdogen one can't produce enough hyrdogen to make any disernable difference... the idea is sound, but you would need a containment facility the size of the car to produce and compress and amount of hydrogen to have any effect on how of the car runs... but then you risk blowing your self to smithereens in the process....

The tornado intake thingy... I am not even going to go there... these are just plain stupid.

And finally not sure who the craze brain was to take a diesel additive and put it in gasoline.... I guess the idea behind it is diesel operates differently over gasoline..

Higher Octane = Slower Burn (Gas)
Higher Cetane = Faster Burn (Diesel)

Supposedly the thinking is if you add a Cetane Boost (Diesel Kleen) to gas it will somehow make the gas burn slower thus effectively raising the octane... but I can tell you this....I am not willing to try it on a gas engine of mine....

Now.. yes I do admitidely use Diesel Kleen in my 3500 cummins... along with a mix of B20 (Biodiesel 20%), and I got an average of 1-2mpg increase in town, and 5-6 on the highway.

Ok.. I am off my soapbox...

then half way down is a schematic, I used it, now all I have at the moment is just the unit, havent had to do anything with the fuel mixutre or o2's

the first one I dont was using plexiglass in a mason jar:D with just wire wrapped around the plexiglass, then one vaccumm line running to the air intake and one running to the vaccum source

tonight tho I stepped up , used 5 plates to begin with , it drew too many amps, dropped to 4, doing good so far.

but just checking the engine temp and the exhaust temp, the engine temp dropped, and the exhasut temp has dropped to 115 degrees,

it is now making more "gas", so I think this one is tons more effective, cant wait to runner a bit to see how it comes out:D

oh and Azpro, used synthetic two stroke oil in the deisal, you'll get a couple more mpg;)

too much sulfer in todays fuel:D

I run 2 plates on a Grand Caravan here. Went from 17 to 24 mpg using 30 amps. 160 degree temps. Jaz fuel cell, billet catch can, and I have a electric water pump and cooler going on. I turned off the closed loop and removed 12% from the open loop tables with the tuner and it works great. Don't really care about the amperage if I am getting the gains.

Say what? I am guessing the 2 Stroke oil will increase the lubricity rating of the fuel....

What are the ratios.... ?

I use a quart per 100 gallons, so pint per 50 would be good, a pint per fillup would work bo, yeah the lubricity of the fuel today jsut sucks, you'll get more power , quieter idle, and more mpg. the reg two stroke works, but have found the synthetic works better

How will this affect the Particulate filters, and emissions system? I know I have to be careful with that BlueTec emissions systems... but I also can not see about 12oz really being much of hurt in 35 gallons...

after I started running it, I jsut got in the habit of putting in a quart per tank,
she will smoke a bit more than usuall, but dont know how it would hurt emmission checks, I wouldnt think it would:dontknow:

next time ya fill up, slap in a pint , for one tank, see if ya notice a differnce, now I have heard to,(only on the big trucks) that the newer engines are coated to compensate for the low sulfer, BUT I have also taked with drivers that have 06-07 cats, that say they also see improvements when using it.

My work truck is a '94 Ford E350 with the 7.3 NA Diesel. I'll have to give this a try. Thanks for the tip Bo.

LOL just posted on Rams thread:D

the radiator finnally give way on the ol mazda man:eek: so waiting on a new one, but the new model makes a ton more gas, andit was very simple,

I used a mason jar,( good ol moonshine bottle:p ) and three stainless steel plates from lowes, two pieces of threaded rod, two ports in top, on air in soource and at idle it dropped the exhaust temps down into the teen and 120 degree range:D
