Dude, I'm into ATV's and motorcycles but I don't know what the hell you're talking about. What the hell is a 750i? I thought this thread was about a BMW 750i automobile.

RAOTFLMFAO....I would have never opened the thread if I'd known it was an ATV rant. I figured it was about a BMW getting beaten by someone... :marchmellow:

i took it from the lame video polaris had on there web site.
they dissed the kawasaki for having to stop, engage the 4wd, then stop again and pull the diff lock handle. i figure anyone who has to lie like that must be selling garbage. and i love long burnouts. can you even do a burnout with your quad? power brake style?

You have no understanding of the awd system. No it wont do a burnout on anything other than wet, dirt, or mud. Any traction at all and even with my 28" it will just flip over!

If you want i can explain the awd system it's pretty cool.

I've got a Polais 850 and 550.... and I wouldn't have it any other way!

WHAT A FANTASTIC MACHINE!

AMEN!!! I used to sell them at the local powersports shop. We sold everything but Yamaha and POLARIS OWNS!!!

Yeah I love that video. As far as i'm concerned it's a fair compo.

The 800R is faster.

Polaris AWD 101.

On all other bikes you engage the transmission to engage 4wd then you have to either push a button or pull a lever (YUK) to engage the locker, most of the time if you are stuck enough for 4WD you need your locker anyhow.

OK THIS WILL GET TRICKY.

Polaris transmission's always send power to the front diff through the drive shaft. Now when in 2WD it doesn't turn the axles at all. It spins Hilliard Overrunning Clutches. When you hit the switch you engage a electro magenit and that engages the Hilliard to the hub..... STICK WITH ME!

So your in AWD but you are, not slipping the back tires... Your not stuck. The AWD is ARMED but Dissengagged.... Now you get in some shit. The back wheels slip 1/5th of a turn (YOU CANT TELL) The back wheels are spinning at say 10 rpm, your transmission is spinning at 10 rpm, your front drive shaft is spinning at 10 rpm but your front wheels are now spinning at 9.5555 rpm. The hillards roll up on ramps and engage them selfs to the hub in the diff and lock the two front wheels in AWD.

So you get out of the shit..... because thats what popo's do. Your back on solid ground and your back wheels are no longer slipping. The bike swaps back into 2WD even though the AWD is still engaged.

All that locking and unlocking happens in the blink of an eye.... literally...

picked it up from the shop last night, gotta love there 8pm close time.
quote the dealer
"i can tell you drive this hard, and i mean real hard."
he says the engine is strong. and said i should trade it in on a Polaris.......

You would still take the PoPo to the dealership the way you drive it I rekon.....

I beat on mine hard! water wheelies, wheelies.... 75 MPH runs. And in 300 miles in two months I had to replace the brakes..... 800 LB bike and a 300 lb rider, hard on brakes.......

STILL LOVE IT!
