Alright since ive recentley s/c my truck alot of people are saying forge the motor so my ? for you experts would be what all do i need to do to make this truck build more boost plus more HP and not blow up on me if you have any suggestions please let me know of companys and products to buy i would like to see 700 at the wheels if possible with out putting the truck on spray!

Going with Stinker is a good route. But to respond to your question...these engines are good, but forced induction causes problems if you have not prepared for the extra temperatures and pressures.

Absolute mimimum:

Forged pistons.

Since you are there, forged rods too.

Then if your secondary goal is to maximize hp and performance there are a million things to be done, but each and every one at a cost...

You need to think about what you want the truck to do...then plan your build to meet those goals. Without a final objective you will not have a compass to guide your decision making.

Once you create your goal, you will realize that it is not just an engine issue, it is a full vehicle strategy that needs to be developed...

Give us specific goals and we will be able to help you more.

goals

really the main goal is to make the truck fast but safe want a overall good sounding and realiable truck to blow by others, love superchargers so dont really want to turbo but with my roe i want to hit the max. hp without a bore i know i want to do heads pistons and rods but what else is there i know a cam would prob sound good but this is my first v-10 build so dont really know what all is out there and on hp the more the happier i will be i would love to hit 1,000 at the wheels but honestly i dont see that happing witout goin to turbos unless im wrong

700rwhp is going to be hard with the Roe (especially a QC):( The kit wasn't really designed for big HP #'s:dontknow:

Pistons and rods and a very small shot in front of throttle body would make a HUGE difference in HP:rock:  A 40 shot would probaly get you a 100hp or more especially in the summer time:D It helps the intake temps. The roe without a intercooler really heats up the air as it compresses it.:(

05 dodge there are a few things to take into consideration, one is the bearings, you need coated and grooved mains for one.

but on the rods you have multiple choices, I can provide k1 rods, eagle rods in two choices, 1000hp and 1500 hp, and even the allmighty oliver rods, capable of whatever hp you thro at them.

from cams to timing chains, even get your heads ported and polished.

Also can provide the ARP head bolts, and main bolts, and provide billet mains to strengten the bottom end.

as well I have reputable builder and machine shop that is even a respected member on the board here.

If wanted we may even be able to build you a motor and after its done do a swap with you.

As far as around 700rwhp, there has been a few here and there that have come mighty close to the 700 mark, I think with the right combination it is possible.

Just let me know if I can help sir:)

Mine ran 702 rwhp. The only internal upgrades were Diamond pistons. The '03 Viper motors supposedly had the strongest stock rods of any of the '03-06 motors so thats what I went with. If I were to build it again I would have upgraded the rods as well.

Who will be doing your tuning? Thats just as important as anything. Building a motor to support 700+ rwhp isnt worth anything if the tune is horrible...KABOOM.

Joe Donovan of Performance by Joe did my tune and VERY familiar with the Viper motor and how to get the safest and most power out of it. Several members have used him. He's located in Saint Louis, not too far away from you. Definately worth the trip if you havent picked a tuner yet.

It actually makes good sense to replace the cam if you're doing a build. The Mopar comp coupe cam is blower friendly, idles well, and will help it make good power. Top it off with good lifters and hardened push rods.

Definitely use the coated bearings. The reduction in friction yields better HP and increases longevity.

Definitely use the ARP rod bolts.

If you're considering some nitrous, it wouldn't hurt to get billet main bearing caps.

Lastly, have your builder modify the oil pump for better pressure.
