Built motor or Strikers for sale

Ohhh, NOW you sell them. Where were you two weeks ago?

I would have to sell my current engine before I could get something like that. Ah well, just have to do it over time when I've got the dough.

Would the remainder of my stock (except pistons) internals in my Paxton motor support the increase in power with the strikers?

You may have mentioned this before but do the strikers come with all the other hardware/pieces needed to install them in the motor or would I need to purchase more parts/pieces to complete the install?

well a couple of things....

This is a great deal and someone should buy it as a whole...I don't know anything about the builder but if this bad boy was assembled correctly you are saving big $$$$

Dave as far as the heads...you already have the expensive part....the headers....you need to match port your intake...which is easy and then re-dynotune....

I was worried that the extra 100 rwhp or so that Joe may be able to obtain through a dynotune with the VEC (before doing any head work) plus another increase in power from the heads and whatever else needs to be done (I'm not very familiar with different heads and what else would need to be done) would be more then what my current motor setup could handle with the boost staying at the stock 7-8 psi. Not sure if the rods and other internals could handle it. Pistons are upgraded so I'm not too worried about them...or should I be?

In all actuality I shouldnt even be talking about Striker heads or even thinking about it as I cant really afford it......but you know how that goes :)

Selling because I have decided to do something different. Still trying to get the rest of my paxton before I can do anything. Strikers do come fully assembled with rollers.

Thanks Mike. Builder is Proline - in fact the engine is still there now. They do all the builds for Underground Racing and more...

Sorry about asking more questions but do the heads come with all the springs, retainers, etc? How much increase in power/tq is typical? Since I have the original intake as well I could probably use it to match the heads. Again, I'm new to this part of the performance side of heads, intake, etc so please bare with me.

DC performance swears by these heads.....they have a comp coupe with these heads and it makes 600 rwhp (race gas) normally aspirated....

I'll give you a busted engine :) The heads and intake are good though...I think. The block could make for a coffeytable discussion piece :dontknow:
