the reason people race on the street

1 - it's free
2 - you don't need a cage in your car if you are quick
3 - not everyone has a track near them
4 - street pavement is a great equalizer versus prepped tracks
5 - tracks are not always open (but on the street you can race anywhere any time)

I don't street race, too much risk now

now I take it to the track only, but my track car is a quick mofo on the street and is still street legal!
