You need (8) 3157 Superwhites.6 for the tails and two for the turn signals. (2) 168 Hyperwhites for the backup lights. This all whitens up the dim stock bulbs and matches the HID`s.

or maybe try this (Compliments of Dave) ..............:D

There has been some discussion on what to do on the marker lights .I just got these to put in the marker lights, backup lamps and brake lights.

Hey Shawn, does your headlights require H1 bulbs?

Yes....We changed out both lamps on each fixture with the H1 Silverstars, huge improvement both on candle producing and appearence...The turn signal bubs were changed out with the 3157A/4157A Silverstars. This gets rid of the amber bub and replaces it with a prism color bub. When they are lit they turn amber. Very clean look when they are not energized.

That's interesting because every H1 bulb I tried with my headlights never seem to be bright enough. Currently I'm running 6000K purple colored bulbs. My 9006 purple fogs look brighter and it always seems that way. The headlights themselves don't make much difference when I switch them on. But I love the look the headlights provide though.

Wow...your fogs produce more road light then your headlights? I find that my fogs do little to assist my headlights, but I have not upgraded the bulbs in them. The stock bulbs that came with the Halo's were to yellow for my taste. The Silverstars provided a white light at higher intensity that much improved the light splash on the road. It was a project within itself to get them adjusted correctly. It took me and two friends, a large parking lot with the overhead pole lights turned off to get mine on spot. Is it possible they could be out of whack alittle?:dontknow:

Scrap the halogen chit and go with HID's boys!!! The only way to roll....

Has the "LAMP OUT" indicator fault been resolved when using these Craig? Heard a few folks were having this issue with HID's.

My "lamp out" indicator came on last week. I took apart the driver side headlight and adjusted the wiring position then re-installed the headlights and violla! It has been good ever since. And as an added bonus the headlight alignment just happen to fall into place. The H1's are 6000K and the 9006's are 6000k. My next experiment will be HID conversion.

Hey Craig, what exactly does the HID conversion do for the front lighting? Does it give it that intense beedy look like BMW's or other high end imports?? Hmmm? HUH?? HMMMMMMM?????
