Busted a modded Lightning yesterday

I know the guy that has it, he was talking shit the other day, it has a 10# pulley, widemouth aftermarket tb, full exhaust, SCT & dyno tuned by BrooksSpeed. All I have performance wise is full exhaust (and Justins intake).

I wa headed back to work, gettin on the interstate as he was gettin off, then he jumped behind me, we raced from mid 4th (my truck), I dint even gear down for it, he stayed with me til I hit 5th then I was over for him. I slowed down for a curve and he jumped past me, then I left him again in 5th :rock:

he wanted to race from a dig but I had to get to work, I think it was best for him that we didn't

My baby made me proud, damn I love this truck :marchmellow:

Haha, they're over eager to prove their trucks, then it's even worse when they loose with their FI vs NA. I respect anyone that loves the sport truck scene, just don't run your mouth to me about how your f-150 is better than my viper truck, it might have saved him an ass-whoopin :rock:

he was dumb enough to race you at his weakest point,his truck isnt geared for top speed,from a dig or even around 50-75 mph he would have pulled on ya,so take the win but not another race with his terms

Thanks for the tip big guy, he claims (or claimed the other day before we raced) that his truck pulled hard over 150, and that it would run over 160. Yeah f*#%in right, he was just pissed cause i told him my truck holds the east coast record for the standing mile in a production big block truck :elefant:
