Give me your opinions.

2002 Custom Brickhouse red/silver hayabusa. 20,600 miles. power commander, TRE, air shifter, stretched 6 inches, custom undertail. bike is in excellent condition and is garage kept, custom lowering triple tree, full yoshimura RS-3 exhaust and polished adjustable kickstand.

Right now we are talking 5k but i think im going to have to negotiate less for the undertail license plate replacement, and a new rear tire.
I dont like the orange windshield, and the suzuki and gsxr decals are going to be shaved.

i thought you were selling your truck because you needed money. if thats the case why would you buy a bike, if thats not the case...sounds like a good deal!

Im getting rid of the monthly payment. But i still need something to make the 3 mile commute to work, on base.

Offering my truck for sale with a partial trade offer, was stressing out my potential buyers. And i still need the flexibility to sell it at a moments notice and have transportation.

So i buy a bike, then i dont have to rush selling the truck and i can get what im asking for it. Take whatever money i profit from the sale, and put that money back in savings.

I need more money, but im not in the poor house.

just wouldnt want to see you make a bad money move and it end up cost you both in the long run.

enjoy them both!

No, even if i broke even on the truck, not having that monthly payment, insurance, gas, and maintenance...... id have that money back in no time.
If i sell it for 17,000 the bike is almost covered anyway.

As long as the bike is sound and reliable, it will provide me its intended purpose. Get me to and from work only.

IMO, get rid of that stupid extended swing arm, and return it to stock wheelbase. Unless you are drag racing it, the stock swing arm is the way to go.

Like I said IMO. I love corner carving, and an extended swing arm is not the way to go for corner carving.

actually youd be amazed.. the extended swing arm doesnt really cramp the corner carving abilities. Streetbike mag did a test on 2 gsxr 1k...one stock, one extended...Same rider on the same course and the times were only a few seconds difference..

besides nothing like riding dragged out busa:congrats:

Yeah its the second one, I have to drive 5 hours to jacksonville to pick it up, but with a deal like this i think its worth it.

Me and the owner talked last night for about an hour. Everything seems legit.
