What is 447 lbs? If you think that motorcycle weighs 447 lbs, you are off by more than 100 lbs.

The last test I read had a stock Busa fully loaded with gas somewhere around 575 lbs.

OK 99, and 2000 Busa's with their fragile aluminium Subframe? *550lbs wet. *+or- 5lbs or so depending on who's doing the measuring. *2001 and on, with the steel subframe? *560lbs, +or- 5.

I just went on the Suzuki web site, and they claim 573 wet, on the 2009 Busa. Either way that is a long way from 450.

I drove to jacksonville. The bike was trashed. It was a full on drag bike. It slid down the dragstrip on both sides. No pictures of that. The pictures he sent me must have been from three years ago. So i didnt get the bike.

It was as light weight as i said. The bike was useless on the road.

So on my 5 1/2 hour ride home the guy from atlanta called me and i told him i would be there the next day.

I got up saturday and drove 6 1/2 hours to look at this bike. But only after i got him to take pictures of the bike with a dollar bill in the picture. So he held a dollar bill in his hand and took 24 pictures to me.

I drove the bike 40 miles. And was sold. So i now have a 2003 Gsxr 1300 hayabusa with 4100 actual miles. Mint condition. 5000 cash. Pictures soon to come.
