.....and he could have put the kit on correctly and tuned it right so fuel didn't puddle in the intake...
 
very true but honestly fuel hardly ever puddles.. unless he had a small leak on his fuel soilnoid

A vette at my track did the same thing..........cept he blew his hood, fenders and intake 30 feet into the air!!!!

Always keep a fire extingisher in your vehicle. I do.
