Met with the cage builder this morning....

New NHRA approved disconnects on some of the down bars will allow the truck to be street friendly when not racing...

1 week to build and install...less than $3000 all in...

Chrome-moly 1 3/4"....

certified by NHRA or no $$$....

I think many of us will be following your progress as we approach 1/4 times required for a cage. I only hope someday I'll be fast enough to have a cage required in my street truck :)

Pics, pics, pics :)

Is it going to be a "Bird-Cage", or is it going to have to run through the back windows, into the bed?

It'd be a shame to have to put a lexan back window in that truck. :dontknow:

with the QC...there is room to put the down bars to the frame via the back seat area....so the window is safe....
