well i went to the track today with my new cal tracs and ended up running worse times than the stock setup, my 60ft times SUCKED i tried doing it by the instructinos and they were very loose, tried them really tight and the truck wouldn't hook any better. anyone have any ideas?

i just installed mine. what worked for me was hand tighenten them until they are touching the spring. Then go 1.5 full turns and enjoy them. might help you out:)

Cavert Racing reccomends 1/4 turn preload setting. thats waht ted may did on mine

What tires are you using? If you are still on the stock street tires you may be overpowering them.

I did find mine hard to get used to, I found leaving them a tad loose at first, then adjusting them down a tad at a time till I was at 1.5 turns seemed to help:D
