I just cleaned mine real well and put a coat of clear Rustoleum on them. They still look great. And it makes cleaning them easier.

I used G2's (available from Eastwood) Red on the fronts. Rears will get painted this Spring.

Painted them with the Brush Caliper paint - Great stuff
Got about 1.5 hours curing time.

Here's pic, not a closeup, but seeable ...

I went the cheap way right before a local show and cleaned mine and sprayed a couple of coats of clearcoat on them.

thanks guys, i was a little concerned that the brush on kits would leave streaks, but you have proven otherwise. thanks for the help.

Where do you get these kits...I am looking at doing this too!:)

Mine came from AutoZone. The brush it came with was pretty weak. After getting two calipers done the brush came apart.. Which made me have to use a tooth brush for the last two. Still, it came out great. No streaks, no brush marks; the paint flows smoothly as it cures.

I'll post up some pics of mine later today. A piece of advice, toss the brush that comes with the kit. They are el' cheapo at its best. Spring for a decent quality brush, 1/2" or 3/4" wide -- it will help get into tight spots. The paint, as it cures, dries flat, no brush strokes. Take your time with prep work, masking and cleaning the calipers (G2's kit included a can of brake cleaner).
