The GTG went great! Got to meet Georgia Ken--great guy by the way, and I enjoyed seeing all the other NC boys again. I was able to pull off a 13.3 in 80 degree heat--fully loaded with tonneau and tailgate. Looking forward to 12's once I get rid of my cat's, and with cooler weather.

Also, I had no idea Stinker loved Miata's so much; that's all he wanted to talk about last night. Don't be surprised if he get's one for his second ride.

Hey Ron, Thanks man and you are awesome. By the way, there is a little bit of brake dust on the right side of your truck.

When we finally left the Rock, Stinker would stop at every intersection and want to talk about those Miata's. I kept telling him we could talk about them tommorrow, when I can cut my phone off :D

Also, he wanted to stop at Sonic and get another PEACH SMOOTHIE. He loves PEACH SMOOTHIES cause he best friend, who is no longer on this forum, loves them. :dancing:

My wife shares your opinion.

Ken, have a safe trip home. Maybe we can meet up in Commerce sometime.

I will put together a GTG at Commerce in February or March

Ok here starts my story.
First person I met was Outnumbered, Ron. Thanks man your awesome, also. Let me tell yall, he has a Beautiful Truck, Spotless. Well, we met and start talking. A few minutes pass and he calls Roktman, I mean Stinker. :dontknow: Stinker was with Rockingham's Finest and at first we thought, Ticket. But, Stinker pulls out his "Im best friend with Roktman Card and the officer extends a little courtesy, not ticket. Well while Outnumbered is talking with Stinker, I checking out his truck. Suddenly an alarm starts going off. Then a voice from Outnumbered's truck says,
"Warning Warning, you have breach the security line. Step Back Step Back. Do Not Touch the Truck. Contamination Iminate. Security Procedures Activated." I thought I was about to be Japped with a Laser or something. Ron deactivates the Security system and tells its ok to get a little closer. Then suddenly Ron says, OH NO!!!!!!!! He runs to the bed of his truck. I ask whats wrong? He saids its bad. he grabs a cloth and runs to the side of his truck. Its then I noticed two small dark spots about the size of a pin head. He wipes the dark spots and they disappear. Darn ( edited to keep out of offensive section) brake dust!!!
After a few minutes Ron is calm. :D :D
Ok maybe Im streching the truth just a little bit.
Seriously, Ron has an awesome truck and he is a PROUD OWNER.
Keep it clean man.
Outnumbered ran some good times at the track. 14.01 I believe was his best time, are you still going to sell your truck, lol. Naw, 13.5 is the real time or was it 13.3 or 13.4. Hell cant remember who had what time.
Anyway, I enjoyed meeting you and it was definitely worth the trip.
Good luck as President of the Miata Club of America, North Carolina
Chapter.

Stinker and Stinker's Boss, Tony and Joanne.

What do I say. Tony you are crazy and have no sense of directions. LOST LOST LOST, AGAIN :D Joanne, call me anytime Stinker out of town baby,

I have not laughed so hard in a long time. I know the employees at Sonic had a good time, also. Stinker, your man purse you were wearing is just a little ghey, but whatever makes you happy. I was impressed with your
" I know Roktman" Card, NOT NOT NOT.

Well, we all have ate our fill at Sonic and its time to head to the track. Stinker speaks up and says, FOLLOW ME GUYS, I KNOW A SHORT CUT. The track is 10 miles away. Stinker's short cut was 25 miles. At least I got to see A LOT OF THE COUNTRY SIDE AROUND ROCKINGHAM. 45 minutes later, we arrive at the track.
Joanne gets on the track and runs a little under 14.0, I believe it was 13.5 to be exact, awesome run  Her R/T was pretty good, also.
Well Stinker sounds off, let me show you how its done. He gets on the line and does a decent burn. he lines up at the tree. The lights start going down, yellow, yellow, yellow, GREEN. The other car in lane 2, take off. Stinker, almost 7 secondes later, decides to leave the line. The people running the track almost started the rescue truck to check on Stinker. Though he may have had a heart attack or something. Turns out, he fell asleep.

I tried to take some pics of Stinker, however, he does not stand still long enough for my little camera as you can see.
At the end of the night, like an idiot, I followed Stinker, again. It took even longer to get back, cause he kept stopping to talk about Miata's. He is definitey hooked on Miata. Finally, we arrive in Rockingham, quite my accident I think. Stinker and his wife and I decide to eat at Huddle House.
Stinker makes friend with Cowboy Bob, dressed in his awesome Cowboy go to church clothes. Stinker asks Cowboy Bob where he got his threads. Stinker was impressed.

I enjoyed meeting both of you and will make the trip again.

Georgia Ken - You won the peachie'st ride!
Get me a peach!!!

Peaches, definitely. Recommend you make a Peach Smoothie, I got the recipe and will send it with the Peaches.

Bill, I enjoyed meeting you. You have a beautiful truck and when you hook up the bottle, I know it will run :D

Bill how is your Toyota friend doing. He was making some good runs at 17 to 20 seconds. He was very proud to talk with you about his times.

When Bill arrived at Sonic, we saw him arrive and park. Then he disappears and suddenly reappears. I think he was talking with some Rice Burners, lol. Definitely looking forward to the next GTG. I hope you get your truck running smoothie.

Had a great time, it was good to see outnumbered, Stinker & Joanne, DJCHEROKEE, SilverSRT10, poppopmadman & Georgia Ken. We all met at the Sonic and got a bite and hung out for a few until the track opened. Ken was representing Georgia with his peach smoothie and then outnumbered dropped the Miata bomb on us. No comment in either

Looking forward to the next gtg and congrats to poppopmadman's 13.4 stock run and Ken's stock QC running a 13.8 ;)

Well, another tall gentleman I had the pleasure to meet. Charles I enjoyed hanging out, running and learning from ya man. You definitely know your performance. Guys this man ran a 13.0 at 110. It was awesome to see. I know my presence is what made you nervous and thats why you were having problems with 3rd. I have that effect on people.

mmmtorque was the last to arrive at Sonic and he arrived barking the tires  Of course, he has a black rc. I know you wanted to join me in drinking a smoothie, so next time Its on me, my friend.

DJCherokee, Raul.

Glad to finally meet the great producer of some awesome videoes.

DJ, arrives late, which I understand in normal for him. Something about having trouble getting acroos the border :dontknow:

I like the Neons on your Inferno, amigo. Thanks for the video of the GTG at Hooters. I wish I could have joined yall. The video is awesome and yall had a great time.

Well when Raul arrived he told me his truck is stock, also. So, we were the two slowest trucks. I told him Ive been running in the 14's so we could run together. We line up and the tree light GREEN. I go with a .2 R/T and Raul was a little slower, .6. He was waiting for the second green light to lite up. Must be a Latino thang, :D Well, this is when I run my 13.88 and I really felt bad. Reason, just met Raul and thought I would run 14.0 and a little slower and it would be a close race. Sorry, Raul.
Guys Raul's truck can run faster just as soon as he is able to push the accelerator all the way to the floorboard. He is rigging up some blocks to put on the pedals when he races.

You have got to come down to Commerce next year!!! Thats in Georgia. We can get over the borders at NC and SC, no problemo !

Well everything is pretty accurate, except that there were 4 spots on the fender, and 1 bug on the grill. Oh and my time.........IT WAS A 13.3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I told everyone at the track that if the truck ran a 14, I was trading it) I should have stayed a little longer; it looks like everyone dropped 2 tenths with the cooler weather.

Anyway, again, I enjoyed your company. Oh yeah, the Miata brochure is in the mail.:D

Ken
When you are talking about mmmmtorque, why do you have a picture of a black shower curtain? What's the hidden meaning?

Hey, I thought I explained myself on that one. I had just driven three hours with the windows down and I was still a little wind deaf. Plus, you didn't climb up on the table when you introduced yourself so you were talking to my knees. My knees don't hear so good. At least I was concerned enough to know that you were suppose to be there and inquire. Yes I will run my truck next time. Your our new photographer in Raul's absence. You did better with your phone than I did with my camera. It was great meeting you too, both times. I've never heard anyone say peach smoothie quite the way you do. That's why the Sonic's man needed an interpreter but we got you one :D . See ya at the next GTG.

I thought you said "Hi, I'm George Kent". Stinker was talking over you so I just missed the correlation. See ya next time. Big Dave

LOLOLOL all I got to say is Ron (outnumbered) left immediatly after running a 13.3!!

I think he was afraid of the Boss's WORK TRUCK, with 3/4 tank of fuel, tool box, spare parts, and numerous other goodies in the back seat spanking his ass!!!!LOLOLO

The Boss ended up running a 13.4! and no Ron she didnt stop and fill up at the track with race fuel!LOLOL

Not bad for a work truck running the same times as an 06 vette:D

But ya'll really dont know the truth about Ga Ken and Raul!!! I HAVE VIDEO!!!

They planned on doing the Brokeback mountain in Rockingham!!! Cant post it now Im in Indy, but wait till this weekend for the new BROKBACK MOUNTAIN II!!!:D :dancing: :dancing:

We all had a blast!!! Cant wait to do it again!!!

Uhhh......I think I'm glad I had left at that point. Looking forward to seeing it???:dontknow: :dontknow: And to think, No alcohol was involved. I only saw Torque with one light beer. You guys are just naturally tipsy all the time. :D

This is so true, Stinker was talking over me, under me and to the side of me. Ok, Ok, I will give it to you. When we first met, I was only knee high to you and didnt shout loud enough. :dontknow:
The second time you were sitting down and a little closer. Also, I think Stinker was quite, for a second.:D
Cant wait till the next GTG
